Meet the Designers

Michael Barnum, Barnum & Company Inc."Always keeping the big picture in mind, we approach each job uniquely with the client's needs and goals at the forefront of every project. We see our role as the agent between the client and the ever evolving world of custom design stressing individuality and incomparable attention to detail." Well versed in both modern and traditional design it is a transitional approach that most often bears the Barnum + Company signature.

John Berenson, John Berenson Interior Design. John approaches each design project on an individual basis, since he believes no two clients are ever alike. He believes that good design will possess a timeless quality, combining classic periods with just the right element of surprise. A successful space is one that not only appeals to the visual sense, but also envelops us in comfort. The most successful projects are those where the client and designer are in harmony with one another, allowing the designer to be at their creative best. Good design is that which can withstand the test of time.

Anthony Catalfano, Anthony Catalfano Interiors, Inc. Catalfano Interiors is a full service interior design firm of residential and commercial projects. The firm offers a wide range of services including: upholstery, window treatments, decorative painting and furniture design. In addition, the firm does construction consultation on custom woodworking, architectural plans and renderings. The firm works closely with clients and their architects and builders to create elegant, comfortable rooms.

Dennis Duffy, IIDA Duffy Design Group. The underlying philosophy of Duffy Design Group is that intelligent planning, respect for each client's needs, and concern for the appropriateness of the design combine to produce the best result. We believe that the design process is participatory and collaborative. From the onset, we confer with each client, to ascertain their functional and aesthetic goals. Because of this individual approach, Duffy Design Group does not project a particular "style". Our approach to space is from a modernist perspective in that we strive to enhance the architectural envelope, not overwhelm it. We design our interiors to form a cohesive link to the architecture. Every project has its own signature "look", relative to the client.

Michael Ferzoco, Eleven Interiors. Michael's design philosophy of combining European 20th century vintage selections, custom designed furniture, contemporary pieces, and accessories enable Eleven Interiors to develop distinct, stylish and functional interiors. The firm's projects have consistently garnered regional and national recognition.

Eric Steven Jacobs, ESJ Designs. Eric specializes in creating visual merchandising environments. For over 23 years his expertise is responsible for Shreve, Crump & Low's eye-catching and memorable displays of fine jewelry, timepieces, tabletop settings, and giftware. His favorite quotes are: "Why do, when you can over do", and "less is not more...less is less." Eric truly marches to his own beat and he will tell you that he likes to "set the trends WORLDWIDE."

Paula McCusker, Theodore & Company. Paula's design versatility and notable vocabulary contributes to interior spaces that range from contemporary to traditional and are always family friendly. Theodore & Company's aim is to continue in the acclaimed tradition of 25 years of Benn Theodore Incorporated's design ingenuity, originality and signature focus on personal rooms with an unending dedication to clients needs.
