Our staff of graduate gemologists will promptly and accurately evaluate your items, in many cases while you wait. Payment is made immediately via Check or Wire Transfer. Alternatively, we accept items in trade, or will act as your independent consultant in finding a suitable buyer for your valuables. We will arrange fixed pricing or set commissions for our services.

To sell your jewelry you should understand “value”. Insurance value denotes replacement values. Probate or estate value represents fair market values involving two willing participants. Cash or “offer” values represents a value at which a party can receive an immediate payment. Most jewelry appraisals are for insurance replacement costs. They are not representative of what you would receive if you were to sell for CASH. Actual cash value depends on condition, age, marketability, rarity, and consumer demand. Shreve, Crump & Low buys nearly everything offered by people with the correct understanding of the cash value of their items. We encourage sellers to compare and get at least 2-3 offers.
